A restaurant in the town of Jávea full of romance and charm, with spectacular views, catering to the most demanding taste buds, and more than delightful service... What more could one ask?
Considered to be the longest-standing restaurant in Calpe, it has since 1941 been serving up the finest traditional local Mediterranean cuisine using the very best ingredients: fresh fish, seafood plucked straight out of the Bay of Calpe and rice dishes are its specialities.
Located in the town of Calpe, this restaurant specialises in the preparation of maritime cuisine, combined with painstakingly excellent service to bring the ultimate flavour of the sea to your table.
The culinary offering includes in particular a range of rice dishes, above all the famed "arròs de senyoret" (fish paella with shelled seafood), fish, seafood, vegetables and meat, depending on the season.
The premises are themselves a real attraction, with large picture windows offering a view of all the comings and goings in the port, as well as the the Morro de Toix and Peñón de Ifach headlands.

When you see the drying racks on the coast (Les Rotes, etc.), you'll know you're in octopus territory. Dried octopus on the Costa Blanca isn't just a dish: it's a symbol. It represents the union between land and sea, the ingenuity of those who learned to preserve what nature offered, and the pride of a people who keep their identity alive through gastronomy.
The rabbit and snail rice from Vinalopó is an ode to authenticity. Every detail, from the vine shoot fire to the quality of the ingredients, makes it a unique experience. Ferran Adrià was right: this dish is a masterpiece that every food lover must try.
